Asrun Lara Johannsdottir comes from a world
dominated by nature, growing up along Iceland's northeast coast on a seaside
lake, also home to one of world's most diverse bird populations. Today Asrun
Lara shares her passion as a teacher in one of Iceland’s most important and
beloved national parks.
Fridjon Arnason originally trained in
Hospitality Arts in the United States and is now an Accredited Guide in
Iceland, specializing in creating unique itineraries for private international
clients to some of its remotest places.
Together the couple has owned and operated their
own hotel in downtown Reykjavik. They reside between Reykjavik and Asrun Lara's
ancestral home in the north. Their passion and insights have inspired the
itinerary's special excursions.
Sigga and Paul Newton, Cuisine Consultants
Sigga and Paul Newton own Iceland's most elegant
gourmet shop, supplying its top chefs and aspiring gourmands alike. They also
run Iceland's most memorable bed and breakfast, set inside a restored sea
captain's cottage. Both are situated in Reykjavik's historic downtown harbor
district.

Andrew Broan, Guide and Operations Consultant
Andrew Broan's penchant for people, culture and
adventure has qualified him to lead more than 100 outdoor expeditions across
seven continents in the past ten years. He
specializes in particularly remote locale such Easter Island and Antarctica.
His broad interests and time-honored experience insure that every aspect of
tour operation run smoothly.
